CHA 2017

I was hoping to get all the pictures loaded, so I could share them.  But my phone is dead, I so need a better phone and battery.  I want to thank Susan and Jim of Clear Scraps for the invite to CHA.  They have awesome acrylic and chip board products, and they are all made in the U.S.A.  I also got to see Ben from Heartfelt Creations.  Heartfelt has some very pretty stamps and dies coming.  Oh and the new papers, to die for.  I visited too many vendors to remember.  I took only a few pictures and as I load them, I will share.  Here is a tease for the MISTI fans.  Think wood mounted stamps.

I have been invited to go to CHA this year.  I am going to visit friends and check things out.  Keep your eye on my Blog for updates and pictures.

What Color Ink is This?

     Recently while sorting thru my ink pads, I had a hard time seeing the names of some of the inks.  Some of the labels were worn and torn.  I remembered a trick we do in the Pharmacy, with prescription labels.  I grabbed my packing tape and tore off a piece just big enough to cover my label.  Problem solved.  I now will always know the colors of my inks.  I will be also be doing my reinkers, glitter, embossing powders, and anything I can think of.  

     And thinking about glitter and embossing powder.  The jars are the same size and I get confused.  I now use a sharpie and mark a G or E on the labels or jars.  No more guessing.      

Missing his Mommy

We have been caring for our grand-furry (Bamcis) this summer.  His daddy is off being a Marine and his mommy is working at a youth summer camp.  We have done our best to spoil him and now he has had enough.  I couldn't resist making this lay-out.  It took me 2 hours to finish, I was laughing to much.  I made the picture large so you could read Bamcis's story.

My DD just came home for a week break.  She is a Unit Leader at camp.  I will be cleaning my craft room and visiting with her.  We may get a few projects done too.  It is hot and humid here, rain is threatening to come at any time, so we will be in the house all weekend.  I added a picture of my mess I need to clean up.  Lots of Chocolate needing to find a home.
